Your Duties And Responsibilities
We Are Looking For An Experienced Data Analyst Who Can Lead And Support Studies Evaluating The Performance Of The Intelligence Community (IC) Unit Tasked With Countering Weapons Of Mass Destruction (WMD). The National Counter-Proliferation Center (NCPC) Is The Information Manager For WMD Counter-Proliferation (CP) Operations, Develops And Coordinates Plans For The US IC CP Program, Evaluates Performance Against Those Plans, And Implements Key Strategies To Enhance CP Information. . The Data Analyst Will Be Part Of
The IBM Consulting Team And Will Provide Direct, Full-Time, On-Site Support To Government Employees Seeking Analytical Services. Services Include:
- Support And Enhance Existing Team Efforts To Analyze Information Data To Support NCPC Management Decisions
- Identify New Opportunities To Incorporate Data Analysis Techniques (E.G. Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis) Into CP Group Information Analysis.
- Collection, Analysis And Visualization Of CP Information Data
- Support NCPC Leaders In Understanding CP/ADM Complexities
- This Location Is Located In Mclean, Virginia.
Technical And Professional Skills Required
- US Citizen With TS/SCI And CI Poly
- Experience With R And/Or Python
- 2+ Years Of IC Experience, Including Demonstrated Knowledge And Working Knowledge Of Enterprise Intelligence, Services, Operations, Processes And Data.
- 2+ Years Of Data Analysis Experience, Including Experience In The Following Areas:
- Data Acquisition, Processing, Storage And Retrieval; Visual Data Analysis; Research And Improve Machine Learning Systems; Communicate Important Findings To Senior Management In The Form Of High-Quality Written Letters And Oral Presentations
Advanced Skills In Microsoft Excel, Including Using Formulas, Pivot Tables, And Charts To Clean, Manipulate, And Present Data Experience In Microsoft Powerpoint
- Demonstrated Ability To Work In A Collaborative And Team Environment
- Demonstrated Ability To Summarize And Present Complex Vocabulary In Written And Graphic Form For The Deaf.
