Be Part Of The Story As A Media Engineer II And Create Hands-On Continuity And Experience Designing/Producing And Distributing Linear Or Digital Video/Audio Content. Media Engineer II Is Primarily Focused On Maintaining Our Current Technology. Responsibilities
Respond To And Resolve Issues Affecting Generation, Transmission, And Distribution Across The Company’s Multiple Networks, Including Technical System Issues, By Performing Diagnostic Tests, Repairs, And Exchange Activities Necessary To Maintain Routine, Specialty, And Complex Troubleshooting. Use System Health And Performance Monitoring Software And Platforms; Troubleshooting And Participating In Systems Repair And Maintenance And Installation Of Software Patches, Updates, Etc.
Implement And Coordinate The Prevention And Optimal Performance Maintenance Of All Broadcast Systems And Equipment Such As Distribution Systems, Switches, Consoles, Playback Servers, Cameras, Robotics, Electromechanical Equipment, Automation System And Radio Equipment. Manage Third Party Service Providers By Performing An Agreed Scope Of Services (Ie Full-Time, Freelance, Union Agency, Maintenance Providers, Contractors, Service Providers, Etc.).
Provide Operational Support Related To The Maintenance And Programming Of Audio And Video/Distribution Systems
Perform Hardware System Upgrades, Software Workflows, And Complex Engineering Projects Under The Supervision Of A More Experienced Engineer Or Supervisor. Conduct Partner Training And Development And Any Other Tasks Required To Achieve Business Goals.

Required Qualifications
- Scripting Skills Would Be An Advantage (Python, Nodejs, Bash, Powershell)

At Least One Cloud Foundational Certification Is Required, Including But Not Limited To Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Comptia Cloud+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
- Knowledge And Experience With Compression Techniques Such As MPEG2/4, HEVC, JPEG 2000 And JPEG XS. Knowledge And Experience In Evertz Software Control Systems Such As Frame Control Via Vistalink Or Magnum, EQX / EXE Routers And Their Monitoring Software VLPRO, SDVN, VIP, VUE, MVP.
