It is a vital part of our Company&#8217;s New Business and Underwriting process. The information you verify and gather directly relates to determining whether the Company will decline or issue a policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for outgoing, hardworking individuals who are self-starters, can work independently and are detail oriented. As a Call Center Representative you&#8217;ll handle inbound and outbound telephone calls with potential customers and accurately document the information on the appropriate database. You must have a positive, helpful attitude with customers to quickly gather information and record it. There is no cold calling and no phone sales. Friendly, casual work environment with full-time and part-time positions available. Excellent earning potential &#8211; hourly wage plus bonus based on performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary duties &amp; responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make outbound calls to potential customers to verify and document required information to finalize applications for underwriting assessment<\/li>\n<li>Use the Quality Assurance database and conduct appropriate assessments on what additional customer information or verification is needed<\/li>\n<li>Clearly explain the application process to potential customers<\/li>\n<li>Accurately complete additional paperwork as needed<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate levels of communication with management regarding actions taken within the Quality Assurance database<\/li>\n<li>Transfer calls to appropriate department as needed<\/li>\n<li>Successfully meet the minimum expectation for departmental key performance indicators (K.P.I&#8217;s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication<\/li>\n<li>Superior customer service skills required &#8211; friendly, efficient, good listener<\/li>\n<li>Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions and Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Minimum typing requirement of 35 wpm<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of medical terminology and spelling a plus<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be detail-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Have a desire to learn and grow within the Company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div role=\"separator\" aria-orientation=\"horizontal\">\n<div class=\"jobs-row-input\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblagii.com\/job-application\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5949 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mlmsky.com\/jobs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/APPLY-NOW-button-01-300x145.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"243\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part-time Insurance Verification Specialist &#8211; Remote\/At Home Work ID &#8211; 3619 &nbsp; Job Description Part-Time Call Center Representative The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for verifying life and health insurance applications directly with potential customers.
