Responsibilities
- Tell A Story Effectively And Meaningfully Through Vivid And Compelling Characterization Of Motion And Motion
- Create Quality Animations Using Digital Tools For Feature Films And Other Related Projects
Close Cooperation With Directors And Heads Of Animation In The Environment Of A Feature Film:
- Take The Assigned Shots In The Order In Which The Directors Will Give General Instructions
- Plan Shots With An Understanding Of Story/Character Context
- Block Animation, Usually With An Audio Dialogue Track
- Clearly Show Performance Ideas And Block Recordings In Director’s Review (Animation Days)
- Work With Directors And Animation Supervisors And Follow Their Guidance
- Make Changes And Complete The Shots According To The Production Plan
- Developing A Working Knowledge Of The Necessary Production Tools
- Maintain An Open And Professional Approach To Referrals, Changes And Transfer Requests
Requirements
Character Animation Reel Of No More Than 2 Minutes Showing Visual Narrative, Believable Expressions, Emotional State, Weight, Physics, Balance, Occupation, Pleasure, Life Time And Toys.
- At Least 2 Years Of Production Experience Is An Advantage
- Knowledge Of Maya Or Equivalent Software Preferred But Not Required
- Backgrounds In Traditional Hand-Drawn, Computer Or Stop-Motion Animation
- Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent Experience
