The Application Engineer Is Involved In The Entire Software Development Lifecycle With A Primary Focus On Evergreen Support Of Existing Software Solutions That Require Significant Knowledge Of The Active Business Domain, Workflows And Processes.
The Application Engineer Role Is Part Of The Digital Core Finance Team. The Scope Of The Work Is To Standardize The Processes Of Providing Financial Services In Order To Provide Faster And Better Financial Processes On SAP S4 HANA. - Collaborate With External Vendors During The Global Design, Configuration, Testing And Deployment Of SAP’s S4 / HANA Financials Cloud Offering.
- Support Standardization And Optimization Of Processes And Alignment Of Finance, Hydrocarbon Value Chain And Asset Management.
- Collaborate With Internal And External Partner Teams To Identify And Implement Solutions That Improve Business Processes.
- Maintain The Highest Level Of Development Practices And Architectural Guidelines, Including Technical Design, Solution Development, System Configuration, Test/Implementation Documentation, Problem Identification And Resolution.
- Work Closely With Solution Architect, Release Train Engineer (RTE), System Integrator And Cross-Functional Teams.
- Work Closely With Business Partners And Enterprise / Data Architects To Ensure Alignment And Meet Our Business Requirements In All Phases Of Program Implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-On Experience With Application Support And/Or Implementation Of SAP Finance And/Or Sales Distribution Modules For: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Managerial Accounting, Customer And Supplier Master Data.
- We Require Knowledge Of English Both Orally And In Writing.
- Understanding Of SAP Financial Accounting, Sales And Distribution Business Processes.
- Ability To Understand Business Processes From The Customer’s Perspective.
