You Will Rotate Across Product Development Teams And Contribute To SI/PI Development To Ensure The Electrical Performance Of Products Through IC Package Modeling, Simulation, Analysis And Correlation. You Will Be Responsible For Representing The SI R&Amp;D Team And Integrating System Design, Silicon Design, Product Engineering And Marketing Departments To Ensure Overall Product Performance. You Are Also Expected To Contribute To Future Standards Development Efforts By Exploring System And Product Electrical Capabilities. Additional Responsibilities Include External Customer Support And Team Process Development. You Will Support Senior Engineers In Their Work For All Of The Above. You Will Also Be Expected To Support Automation Projects By Performing Software Development Using Various Types Of Programming Languages.
Qualifications
Successful Candidates For This Position Will Have:
- Required Courses Covering Electromagnetic, Transmission, And Radio Frequency Theory, Analog Design, Or Similar Field Or Experience. Working Knowledge Of 3D E.M. Array Solvers, Time And Frequency Domain Simulation Tools Including HFSS, HSPICE, ADS, Etc.
- Working Knowledge Of PCB Level Simulation Tools Including Cadence Allegro Sigrity Etc. Understanding Of Electromagnetic And Transmission Line Theory, General I/O Design, Signal Integrity, Differential Operator, And Single-Ended Interface Technology.
- Knowledge Of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout Or Electrical Package Design Techniques. It Knows High-Speed Interfaces Such As Pcie, SATA, SAS, DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5, And ONFI Standards.
Knowledge Of HVM Corner Cases And Statistical Analysis And Equivalent Tools (Eg: JMP) Is Also Advantageous.
- An acquaintance And Basic Understanding Of Laboratory Measuring Devices
