Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager Position Requires The Ability To Work Closely With All Internal PACCAR Winch Departments To Implement And Coordinate Upsells. This Includes Marketing And Other Dealer/Distributor Programs, Policy Development, And Also The Ability To Work With Specific Organizations In An Assigned Geographic Area.
Basic Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop And Maintain Customer Accounts To Meet Or Exceed Sales Goals For Specific Areas Of Responsibility And Product Offerings.
- Research, Forecast, And Target Market Potential For Current And Proposed Products Analyze Economic Trends, and Competitive Opportunities And Report Current Market Data. Visits Assigned Dealers/OEMs To Provide Sales Assistance, Training, And Dealer/Distributor Development To Improve The Division’s Overall Sales And Marketing Program.
- Assists In Evaluating The Need To Expand Existing Dealers/Distributors As Well As Developing Potential New Dealer/Distributor Candidates. Identify And Develop New And Improved Product Applications Within And Outside Assigned Area Or Area Of Responsibility.
- Interface With Accounting Engineers, Service, And Quality Divisions To Assist In The Design And Integration Of New And Existing Products. Directly Contacts Key Accounts In Assigned Territory And Provides Assistance With Product Development And Training.
Performs Other Related Duties As Assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering, Business, Marketing, Or Related Field.
- Background In Hydraulics And Power Transmission Products. Knowledge Of The Mobile Equipment, Construction, And Equipment Market Is A Plus.
- Excellent Presentation, Oral, And Written Communication Skills. Technical Product Knowledge Gained Over Five To Ten Years Of Closely Related Experience.
- Must Be Able To Travel 50% Of The Time.
