What Will You Do?
The Software Jr Engineer Plays A Key Role In Software Development Activities And Long-Term Planning Of Initiatives And Collaboration Across The Strategy &Amp; Transformation (S&Amp;T) Organization. Software Engineering Is The Cornerstone Of Scalable Digital Transformation Across The Pepsico Value Chain. This Candidate Will Support End-To-End Software Development And Deliver High-Quality Software As Part Of The Devops Process.
This Role Will Be Part Of Our Software Development Team To Ensure We Deliver The Best Possible Software Solutions And Ensure They Create Value Through Cost Savings Or Added Value. This Candidate Will Work Closely With The User Experience, Product, IT And Process Engineering Teams To Develop New Products And Prioritize Solutions For S&Amp;T Priorities.
Main Activities:
- Drive The Vision And Lead The Engineering Team To Create And Support Digital Products And Solutions (DPS) On Key S&Amp;T Priorities
- Collaborate With User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data &Amp; Analytics, Emerging Technologies, Innovation And Process Engineering Teams To Deliver The Digital Product Portfolio
- Support Software Development Strategy Using Industry Standards. Create A Plan And Schedule Implementation Of The Plan Based On Business Requirements And Strategy.
- Drive The Expansion Of DPS Functionality Through A Customer-Obsessed Service-Driven Digital Solutions Platform That Leverages Data And Artificial Intelligence To Deliver Automated And Personalized Experiences.
- Help Problem Solve Bottlenecks, Risks, Issues And Changes Related To Engineering Initiatives To Stakeholders

Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science, Engineering Or Related Field
- Master’s Or Phd In Computer Science Or Engineering Preferred
- Minimum Of 1 Year Of Related Software Development And Engineering Management Experience
- 1+ Year Of Experience Architecting Large-Scale Fault-Tolerant Distributed Systems
- Knowledge Of Data Structures, Algorithms And Object-Oriented Design
- Working Knowledge Of Programming Languages Other Than C#, Java, C Or C++ (E.G. Ruby, Python, Perl)
