What To Expect
Perform Firmware Maintenance For The Production Line In Various Mechanical And Firmware Processes, Tasks Including Disposing Of Non-Conforming Materials Coming Off The Production Line, Responding To Out-Of-Control Processes, Working On Revenue Improvement Projects And Qualifying New Equipment And Processes Introduced On The Production Line. Perform Engineering And Manufacturing Support Activities Including But Not Limited To Self-Testing And Implementation, Firmware Testing To Verify Changes Or Enhancements Related To New Releases. Handle Workload With A Positive Attitude As A Team Player In A Collaborative Work Environment.
Responsibilities
- Investigate And Implement Countermeasures To Improve Line Processes And First Pass Test Results. · Development Support, Diagnostics And Troubleshooting Of Firmware And Testing Issues (Across The Value Stream, Including Patching Backend Services).
- Documentation Of Basic Troubleshooting Steps And Training On How To Fix Level One Problems On Pre-Flash Drives; This May Include Updating The Drives To The Latest Firmware Versions. · Work With Firmware Engineers To Initiate Testing And Document All Firmware Releases And Self-Test Configurations.
- Must Be Flexible To Support Bi-Day, Swing And Alternate Work Schedules (Weekends And Holidays May Be Required). · Manage Troubleshooting And Repairs Accurately According To Assigned Processes.
- Manage Small Projects Involving Multiple Departments And/Or External Vendors. · Manage Workload With A Positive Attitude And Proactively Assist Staff.
Requirements
