We Are Looking For A Data Scientist To Join Sam’s Club’s Fraud Detection Team. As A Staff Data Scientist, You Will Be Responsible For Owning Fraud Risks Across Product Areas And Be A Strategic Partner To Product And Business Teams. You Are Tasked With Setting Goals, Creating Strategy And Working Closely With Product Managers, Engineers And Business Partners. You Will Be Responsible For Identifying Changing Fraud Trends, Building And Implementing ML Models With High-Dimensional, Fast-Moving Real-Time Data Sets, And Driving Innovation In Fraud Detection And Prevention Across Multiple Channels.
What Will You Do:
- Use Machine Learning To Develop Fraud Detection Models In Areas Such As E-Commerce &Amp; Club Payment Fraud, Chargeback, Account Takeover (ATO) And More. Collaborate With Business And Technical Stakeholders To Translate Business Fraud Issues Into Data Science Solutions.
- Work On ML Models And Algorithms In Big Data, Graphical Modeling And Other Areas. Work With Engineering Teams To Implement Model Pipelines And Deploy Services At Scale.
- Rapid Response To System Issues And Thorough Root Cause Analysis
What To Bring:
Industry Experience Building Machine Learning Systems In Manufacturing At Scale. Experience With Languages Used To Manipulate Data And Derive Insights From Large Datasets (Eg Python, SQL, Etc.)
- Experience Working With Large Datasets And Distributed Computing Tools (Pyspark/GCP/Bigquery).
- Experience Dealing With Fraud Risk Is Desirable
- Experience Working With Cross-Functional Product And Engineering Teams To Understand Requirements And Incorporate Them Into The Plan.
