Overview Of Work And Responsibilities
Responsible For Evaluation, Implementation And Ongoing Support Of Various Platforms (Hardware, Operating Systems, Software And System Tools). Provide Consultation And Direct Technical Support In Problem Management, System Integration And Programming. Implement Releases, Upgrades And/Or Environment Changes. Ensure Platform Performance And Availability Meet Design Standards And Goals Through Monitoring, Early Service Recovery, And Tuning. Duties May Include System Implementation, System Maintenance/Administration, And Troubleshooting And Diagnostics. Perform Root Cause Analysis To Quickly Recover From Service Interruptions And Prevent Recurring Issues
Provide Technical Support To The Company As Needed
- Consultation With Other Business Units (E.G. Application Teams, Dbas, Middleware, Etc.)
- Design And Document Business Standards And Procedures
- Ensure Platforms/Systems Meet Established Company/Industry Standards (System Management, Security, Operating Systems, Etc.) And Reference Models
- Implement Platform Changes With Minimal Business Impact By Following Business Standards And Procedures
