What Will You Do:
- Build SCADA Platforms With Ignition 8.X
- Write Advanced PLC Programming Logic For Live Production Of Wayfair Systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Build And Run The Python Code
- Create AOI PLC Patterns For Conveyor Sorters (Sorting Logic, Code Combining, Etc.)
- Develop, Test And Implement Code For PLC Communication Sockets Into The WCS/WMS Software Interface
- Manage Vendor VPN Access Security
Analyze And Use SQL Queries
- Strong Understanding And Implementation Of Software Version Control Standards
- API/Integration Testing And Development (C+ Software, Java, Python, Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Development Of A Code For Notification Of Alarm Codes By SMS Message
- Submit / Submit Server Build Request
- Virtual Machine Configuration
- Data Storage With JSON, Kafka And More****
- 3D Simulation Or Game Engine Programming (E.G. Emulate A 3D Product)
- Remotely Support Live Production Systems On Critical Infrastructure For Fulfillment Centers
Working With Senior Management
- Use And Manipulate The File Types Used To Manage The Design Package. (E.G. JT, PDF, DXF, DWG)
- Flexibility To Support Running Multiple Machines And Changing Needs Across The Network
- Understand Common Barcode Symbology And Assign Definition Filter Rules
- Project Cost Justification And Return On Investment Analysis Reporting
- Writing Technical Instructions (EI)
- Provides Support For Machine And System Installations
- Implement SW Improvements, Including New SCADA Systems
- Implement Engineering / Equipment Change Request (ECR) And Engineering Change Authorization (ECA) Processes In The Company.
- Ability And Willingness To Travel Up To 20-30% Of The Time
What You Need:
- 2+ Years Of Experience In A Modern Programming Language (Such As Python, Java, C# Or Other) Required, A Plus For Future Designs
- A Strong Technical Background In Warehouse Management Systems And Control Systems Is Required For Success In This Role
- Proven Experience With Material Handling Automation Equipment With An Emphasis On Handling And Sorting Systems
- Firing Perspective Experience On V8.X Or Higher
- Advanced PLC Programming Experience Demonstrated
- Allen-Bradley Programming Experience (Siemens More Experience)
- Demonstrated Knowledge Of Power Distribution, Hardware Control And Mechanical Layout Design (Speed, Flow, Rate, Operation)
