AT WORK
The primary purpose of the member management specialist is to quickly and accurately and efficiently enter associate member data into Best Buy Health’s database, maintaining a high level of communication to ensure compliance. Success in this role is measured by a) the accuracy and speed with which member data is entered, b) the ability to successfully resolve onboarding issues in a timely manner, and c) the validation of data entered against the application original within the contractual term.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Handle and process incoming reports quickly and accurately within the required timescales
- Maintain a high level of communication both internally and externally
- Verify and/or request client eligibility and/or partner agency permissions.
- Troubleshoot, check, update and restore data, within a specified schedule as required by contract
- Update patient accounts using data and/or documentation received
- Interpret, analyse, verify and accurately enter data into the computer system to ensure data integrity.
- Understand and understand different partner requirements and protocols, as well as be able to determine that documentation meets requirements
- Store the correct information in the desired database locations
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information
- Communicate as needed with patients and/or referral agencies through inbound and outbound phone calls, as well as written documentation
