The Starting Hourly Rate Is $54.80 Per Hour, Based On The Collective Bargaining Agreement. Main Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Instructor Conducts Classroom And Hands-On Training At The Maintenance Base, Line Station, Supplier Base, And Other Facilities, Including, But Not Limited To, Providing Technical Knowledge And Practical Guidance For The Safe Maintenance, Repair, And Operation Of Aircraft And Maintenance-Related Aircraft. , Ground Equipment, Tools And Test Equipment According To Established Procedures.
Maintenance Instructors Also Analyze Technical Information, Develop Training Programs To Meet Established Objectives, Write, Edit, And Create Technical Instructional Materials, And Develop, Coordinate, And Conduct Technical Tests As Needed. Instructors Provide Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Various Technical Operations Teams
- Conduct Formal Flight Systems Training In The Classroom
- Check The Technical Data And Manual For Up-To-Date Information On Procedures
- Instructors Will Use Training Aids Such As Ipads, Computerized Training Aids And Virtual Maintenance Training (VMT) Simulations!
- Must Be Legally Authorized To Work In The United States For Any Employer Without Sponsorship

What Is Needed To Succeed (Required Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED Or Equivalent
- FAA A&Amp;P License
- Extensive Technical Knowledge Of Aircraft Systems, Maintenance Operations And Applicable FAA Regulations
- Skill Development Training
- A Minimum Of Five (5) Years Of Aircraft Maintenance Experience With A Part 121 Airline Or Equivalent Military Experience
- Must Be 18 Years Old
- Valid US Driver’s License (Cancelled, Suspended Or Expired Are Not Considered Valid)
- Must Pass A 10-Year Background Check
- Willingness To Undergo Placement Test Of Physical Skills, Hearing And Vision Tests And Drug Screening
- Willingness To Work Occasionally Outside Shifts / Weekends
- Candidate Must Pass A Criminal Background Check Based On Fingerprints In Order To Obtain And Maintain The Credentials Necessary For The Position
