Main Responsibilities:
Chief Architect – Application Cybersecurity Verifies That Our Services, Applications And Websites Are Designed And Implemented In Accordance With United’s Secure Development Standards. The Chief Architect Is A Senior-Level Position That Works Closely With Development Teams, Product Teams, And Other Teams Across The Organization To Integrate Security Into The Product Lifecycle From Design To Deployment. The Chief Architect Is The Recognized Authority On Establishing Security Requirements, Conducting Application Security Assessments, And Providing Remedial Guidance And Advice To Developers. On Any Given Day, The Chief Application Security Architect May Be Available To Evaluate A New System, Review Proposed Application Changes, Or Provide Application Security Guidance/Best Practices.
Serves As A Trusted Advisor/Consultant And Assists In The Development Of Security Proposals, Requirements, Risk Monitoring And Mitigation Guidelines In Accordance With Industry Best Practices And Regulatory Requirements
- Lead Architectural Design Assessments And Threat Modeling Of Our Products (Cloud And On-Prem)
- Recommends And Implements Products/Services That Support Operational And Security Requirements
- Help Lead The Design, Definition And Implementation Of Security Best Practices And Standards And Ensure Product Development Teams Understand Them
- Supports And Contributes To The Continuous Development Of Our Security Strategy And Supports Risk Prioritization
- Assists In Training And Supporting Team Members
- Leading The Development Of Security Availability Through Automation, Continuous Integration And Other Methods
- Perform Manual Application Code Analysis Using SAST, DAST And SCA Scanning Solutions As Well As Perform Manual Vulnerability Analysis
