What Will You Do:
Collaborate With Business Partners Including Storefront, Martech, Global Supplier Tech, Pricing Tech And Partner Infrastructure &Amp; Platforms Teams To Understand Their Business And Co-Develop Effective Solutions That Deliver Significant Business Value. Create, Design And Implement Robust And Scalable Apis And Infrastructure Automation.
- Contribute To The Design And Implementation Of CI/CD For Site Search On Top Of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop And Maintain The Software And Infrastructure Your Team Develops And Operates.
- Provide Guidance And Collaboration With Cross-Functional Engineering Teams To Streamline And Improve Adoption Of Elasticsearch Deployments Running On Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Within Wayfair. Develop And Monitor Okrs For Key Product Initiatives And Ensure Alignment With Stakeholder Objectives.
Use Agile Processes To Collaborate With Partner Teams To Execute The Plan.
What You Need
- 5+ Years Of Experience In Server-Side Software Engineering (Java, Go Or Python, Etc.).
- 5+ Years Of Experience In Infrastructure Roles With A Strong Linux Foundation. 5+ Years Of Experience In TCP/IP Operations, Load Balancing, Security And Production Environment Operations.
- 5+ Years Of Experience With Search Platforms Such As Elasticsearch. 5+ Years Of Experience In Elasticsearch Configuration And Schema Optimization.
- Engage In Some On-Premise To Cloud Migration As A Container Adoption Strategy. Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills.
- Positive Attitude, People-Oriented And Collaborative. A Mentality That Overcomes Problems With Creative Solutions And Tenacity While Maintaining A Graceful Attitude Under Pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
